Road-To-PV

John Augustine was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, in 1946. His father, an American serviceman married to a French woman, moved the family home to Hebron, Iowa, when he was four. The family moved soon thereafter to Phoenix, Arizona, and John had his first sighting of Paradise Valley in 1951. His extensive interest in horticulture and agriculture are evident in Arizona, where John owns a wholesale tree nursery in Paradise Valley, a cotton farm in Laveen, and a cattle ranch in Young, Arizona. A lifelong student of history, John is an avid collector of Indian art, cowboy gear, and books about the people, places, and history of Arizona in the southwest.

John Augustine, historian, farmer, rancher and nurseryman. He has gifted us with his history of Paradise Valley, Metro Phoenix, to north Scottsdale. His book is an intriguing and enlightening story you will want to pass on to your grandchildren."
