Benjamin Maynard is the director of civic education for the Sandra Day O’Connor Institute For American Democracy. A seasoned civics educator and technology innovator with over 20 years of experience in private k-12 schools, he has a track record of leading an expansion of student access to technology and teacher use of technical tools in their classrooms. With two master’s degrees in History and Information Library Science, he is no stranger to collaborating with teachers and other administrators to work out the difference between academic needs and technological capabilities.
