Deborah Berkley has served as director of civic engagement for the Sandra Day O’Connor Institute for American Democracy since 2016. Her primary focus is on programs that enrich the Institute’s donors and Patrons Circle, benefactors that provide sustaining support for the mission of the Institute.  As a member of the Institute’s Leadership Team, she also contributes to the programmatic efforts of the Institute. Deborah previously served as Director of Development for the International Preschools in New York City and Director of Development for the Phoenix Boys Choir. She serves on the board of the Livingston Foundation, a private family foundation, and is actively involved in Charter 100, ASU Women in Philanthropy, Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations, and is a Sustaining member of the Junior League of Phoenix.
