Dr. Nancy Haas earned her doctorate in Instructional Design and Curriculum Development from Arizona State University, where she later became a professor specializing in teacher education, civic engagement, and social justice. She taught both undergraduate and graduate students, and previously worked in general education and students with disabilities. Committed to P–12 education throughout her career, Dr. Haas led research, workshops, and initiatives, including Model UN and We the People, through the Arizona Bar Foundation. Her curriculum work extended internationally to Bosnia and Herzegovina via the U.S. Department of State and Fulbright Scholars program. A career highlight was collaborating with Justice Sandra Day O’Connor to develop an online civic education program for middle schoolers. At Capella University, she served as Program Director for K–12 Education, taught graduate courses, and chaired doctoral research.
