O’Connor Institute Expands National Presence with Washington, D.C. Office and Fellowship Program
The Sandra Day O’Connor Institute has expanded its national presence with a new satellite office in Washington, D.C., and the launch of the O’Connor Institute–ASU Law Fellow Program. Together, these initiatives strengthen the Institute’s mission to advance civic education, civil discourse, and civic engagement across the country.
Washington D.C. Office
Located in the ASU Barrett & O'Connor Center
Located just steps from the White House at the ASU Barrett & O’Connor Washington Center, the new D.C. office serves as a strategic hub for the Institute’s nonpartisan work at the federal level. From this location, the Institute fosters partnerships, amplifies research, and supports initiatives that empower citizens and strengthen civic participation.
O’Connor Institute-ASU Law Fellow program
In collaboration with Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, the O’Connor Institute–ASU Law Fellow Program offers a third-year law student the opportunity to work on-site in Washington, D.C. The Fellow contributes directly to the Institute’s public policy portfolio, gaining firsthand experience in the legal and civic arenas that helped define Justice Sandra Day O’Connor’s legacy.
Through this program and its new D.C. presence, the O’Connor Institute continues to build upon Justice O’Connor’s enduring commitment to an informed, engaged, and civically minded nation.
